David Beckham: Stylish Performance at Statues Ceremony in Los Angeles
Great honor for former football star David Beckham (43)! In Los Angeles, the Brit can now be visited by his fans at any time - in the form of a statue that was unveiled on Saturday in front of the stadium of the club LA Galaxy. The couple had matched their outfits in color: While the 43-year-old had chosen a dark blue suit with a light blue shirt and tie, the fashion designer wore a dark blue velvet pants, a black blouse and a navy blue trench coat with beige sleeves.
"LA Galaxy is a club whose leaders and fans have done so much for football in the US," Beckham said in his speech at the statue unveiling. "It is a privilege to be part of the great history of this club and that makes me and my family very proud."
That Victoria Beckham is very proud of the success of her husband, shows her Instagram post, which she published to the celebrations. On the snapshot, the radiant couple can be seen, commenting, "A wonderful evening with LA Galaxy and James Corden celebrating David Beckham and the first statue of the Major Soccer League, we are all so proud."
