Cool & cozy: These are the sneaker trends for 2019
Sneakers are just awesome. And in all situations. They are casual, they are comfortable and they just fit EVERYTHING! But sneakers are of course not the same as sneakers - and we'll prove that to you. We show you four sneaker trends that you should not miss in 2019.
Platform Sneaker
It's also high this year. Sneakers with platform soles are very popular. Last year, the breakthrough of the high soles did not work out, so we celebrate the trend in 2019 all the more. Because sneakers with plateau meanwhile look anything but clumsy. On the contrary, they can even visually stretch the legs. Our favorites are for example the Puma Suede Platform Trace or the Superga 2730.

Retro
The retro sneakers from the 90s are so retro that they are in fashion again. At least in 2019. That's why we see them again increasingly on the streets - and hopefully soon on our feet. Colorful colors, thick soles and a bit of indoor sports shoe flair - hach, these shoes almost trigger a nostalgic feeling. And who likes it particularly retro: There are also Velcro closures.

High Rise Sneaker
Almost erased from our memory, but back again: the sneakers with a high shaft - also called High Rise. In the 90s they were THAT thing, today almost nobody wears them anymore. Except for basketball players, maybe. So it's high time to revive these models. What many do not consider: The boot-like sneaker you can wear perfectly in winter. At last you will never have to give up your favorite shoes again. By the way, no-one here sees you wearing grandma's homemade Christmas socks. The shoes hide that too.
