E. coli? What do I have to expect if I eat it?

Who takes E.Coli pathogens, has no good time in front of him: stomach cramps, violent vomiting and diarrhea are to be expected as well as high fever. Blood in urine and digestion are also not uncommon. In particular, children or elderly people can even get into mortal danger, if the symptoms are particularly strong, and for pregnant women, the consumption is extremely dangerous!

And if I already ate some of the cheese?

Then you have to go to the doctor as soon as possible! There, you can then examine whether you really carry the dangerous pathogens in you, and provide you in case of emergency and appropriate medical.

How do I know if my cheese is affected?

The risk is with the 100 gram packs of Roquefort cheese. The best thing is, you look at the expiration date. The Expiry date 15.07.2017 - T016B and the Identity mark FR.12.203.018 CE are clear features of a loaded pack. The Roquefort packs have been available in stores since February 1, so be sure to watch out, even though your last visit to Netto was a long time ago! And for safety's sake, we repeat again: In no case should you even eat a crumb of these cheese slices!

What do I do if I have such a pack?

Netto offers affected customers to reimburse the purchase price upon return of the package. The easier way is to throw the cheese pack straight into the bin before family members or housemates eat it accidentally.
