Chris Pratt: Part three of "Guardians of the Galaxy" is coming!

Chris Pratt (39) has assured the Marvel fans that there will be a third part of the "Guardians of the Galaxy" series. The future of the proposed film was initially uncertain: director and author James Gunn, 52, had been fired by the Disney bosses after old tweets appeared in which he joked about rape issues. Gunn had apparently already written a screenplay for the third film, but a new director should not yet exist.

Pratt, who starred in the films, has now made it clear that the story of the "Guardians" will continue. What exactly will happen in this, he did not know. Compared to the US industry portal Variety, he said: "I promise there will be a third movie, I do not know exactly what it will look like, but I know that everyone who is there is on fire, the fans to give what they want to complete a trilogy in a meaningful way. "

Last year, Adam McKay (50) is said to have revealed that he spoke with Marvel boss Kevin Feige (45) about being able to direct the movie. Whether it came to an agreement in the end, is not known. Gunn had apologized for his tweets. Some of the "Guardians of the Galaxy" stars then sat down at Disney to hire the director again. The studio, however, held on to his dismissal. Since August, the production of "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" has been put on ice.
