Cher: Surprise appearance on her Broadway musical
On Monday evening, the musical "The Cher Show" premiered on Broadway in New York. The show features 35 of the greatest hits of the musician and tells the story of her extraordinary life. The 72-year-old has been in the limelight for almost six decades and can be proud of a Grammy, an Emmy and an Oscar, among others.
The artist was present at the premiere evening and insisted on surprising the guests and fans with a surprise performance after the show. An avid onlooker was US presenter Hoda Kotb (54), who filmed the show and released the video on her Twitter account. In the clip you can see how Cher sings her hit "If I Could Turn Back Time".
