Carmen Geiss: Why is she going through a vampire lift?
The fact that Carmen Geiss (53) is investing a lot of time and money in her looks is something that not only fans of her documentary soap have long been aware of. But in today's new double episode of "Die Geissens - A terribly glamorous family" (7 January on RTL II, 20:15 clock), the millionaire's wife is still on it. The 53-year-old enjoys a vampire-lifting. In an interview with the news agency spot on news, she reveals what this is all about, what plans she has already made for 2019 and whether further beauty interventions are planned.
2019 has just begun, do you have any resolutions for the new year?
Carmen Geiss: I do not have that. I set small goals throughout the year that I want to achieve. That does not depend on a date for me.
What plans do you have for the new year?
Geiss: Of course we have a lot of plans, sometimes too many (laughs). The turn of the day for our program is set to continue in 2019 and there will also be new episodes of "Get the Geissens Down the Table". Next door is our hotel, Robert's clothing line, my music project and much more. We work a lot, we never get bored.
Do you remain faithful to your docu-soap or are you thinking about drawing a line?
Geiss: As long as the people turn on, we will continue. The shooting is always great fun for us, the team is now like a family for us.
In the current episode today you undergo a very special beauty treatment. What do we have to imagine?
Geiss: This is a so-called vampire-lifting. In the process, a serum is obtained from the blood that is injected under the skin. So it's a very natural method of lifting and much gentler than Botox.
How much time do you invest daily in your appearance?
Geiss: The viewers of the show know that I like going to the hairdresser every day. Of course this is associated with a certain effort, which is personally important to me. Otherwise, I try to do sports every day, I like to wear makeup ... Since a lot of time comes together.
You already have one or the other beauty surgeries behind you. Do you regret one of the interventions? And are more planned?
Geiss: It's well known that I had my breasts made a few years ago. I have never regretted that, on the contrary. Other interventions are currently not planned, but I do not exclude anything.
What do you find most beautiful about yourself?
Geiss: My hair is already very important to me, because I put a lot of emphasis on it, that are nicely done. Otherwise, I can say that I feel very well in my skin and also proud to look like that at my age.
And what do you find least beautiful?
Geiss: Every woman has problem areas that she does not like about herself. This can sometimes change depending on the form of the day. By and large, I am satisfied with myself.
