Bruce Willis: Deadly accident on set to his new movie strip

What a horror news: Bruce Willis' film set (63, "R. E. D. - Newer, Harsher, Better") new movie strip "Motherless Brooklyn" caused a devastating fire. A firefighter lost his life. Two others were seriously injured. As reported by "CBS New York," the fire is said to have erupted Thursday night around 11:00 pm in the basement of an uninhabited residential building in Manhattan. The cause of the fire is not yet clear.

200 firefighters were in action

A statement by the film producers states: "Our deepest condolences to the family of Michael R. Davidson A fire broke out tonight in the building we filmed our film in. Our production declined towards the end of our working day [... ], when our crew noticed that smoke penetrated from below into our set and into other parts of the building. " Around 200 forces have fought well into the night against the blazing flames.



One of them: the 37-year-old Davidson. The firefighter was initially considered missing, was later taken to a hospital with severe burns. There, however, only his death could be determined. He leaves behind his wife and four children together, reports the Fire Department of New York City on Facebook.

"Motherless Brooklyn" is due to appear in 2019. Besides Willis, not only Willem Dafoe (62) and Alec Baldwin (59) are in front of the camera, but also director Edward Norton (48) himself. The actors have not yet commented on the incident.
