Boris Becker and Lilly Becker: Will they reconcile for their son over Christmas?

A reconciliation with his still-wife Lilly Becker (42) over the Christmas holidays is "excluded" for Boris Becker (51), as he explains to the magazine "Bunte" in an interview. But the common son Amadeus (8) should suffer as little as possible under the family situation. "We both love our son and try to give him a good time," says the tennis legend. While there are no concrete plans for the holidays yet, he has faith in Lilly and himself "that we can find the right solution for Amadeus".

His loving marriage record

He also looks back at his marriage to Lilly: "But our marriage has been going on and off for some time [...] Unfortunately, the point came to me and Lilly where it did not go together anymore," he admits. And yet he considers both marriages - including those with Barbara Becker (52) from 1993 to 2001 - as successful. "I do not think we failed," he says. He lived with Barbara for 10 years and Lilly for 13 years. "You have to do that first." Of course, at 25, he also had the ideal of a life-long marriage, but life had intervened. Nevertheless: "I do not want to miss the time," says Becker.

Currently there is no new love in his life, his heart is "closed to a new partner". But it would be nice to fall in love again. He will, however, take it very slowly. "And when I finally find the right one, I do not rule out not to marry again," he says.

Sharlely Kerssenberg and Boris Becker got married in June 2009 in St. Moritz. Their son Amadeus was born in February 2010. The former dream couple announced in May 2018 the separation, since then, worked on the divorce arrangements.
