Bill Hader: His award-winning HBO series gets a third season
That was fixed: The pay-TV channel HBO has, according to US media reports, a third season of the dark comedy series "Barry" ordered. The second season of the award-winning series has just started. "Barry" is about the eponymous assassin, who discovers his passion for acting in a job in Los Angeles.
Barry is featured in the series by US comedian Bill Hader (40, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine"). Other roles include Stephen Root (67, The Man in the High Castle), Sarah Goldberg (33, The Dark Knight Rises) and Anthony Carrigan (36, Gotham). The script for the series was written by Bill Hader.
The first season "Barry" has been awarded three Emmy Awards, including in the category "Best Actor in a Comedy". In Germany, the series can be seen on Sky Atlantic and can also stream on iTunes and Maxdome.
