Bill Cosby: He has to stay in jail
Former TV star Bill Cosby, 81, is serving a three- to 10-year sentence for severe sexual assault at a Pennsylvania detention center. The judge in charge of the lawsuit has now denied Cosby's request for another trial or ruling, according to "Page Six" of the "New York Post." The verdict for the comedian had fallen in late September.
The judge now stated that, after a close examination, he saw no basis for a hearing on any of the questions raised by Cosby's legal team. Cosby's wife, Camille Cosby (74), allegedly re-accused the judge of being biased against her husband. After the decision of the judge in Pennsylvania, Cosby's lawyers now apparently want to go to the next instance, in an attempt to reverse the conviction of their client.
