Bestsellers: The most beautiful books for spring

Just "Fifty Shades of Gray" star E. L. James (56) has just released a new book. But other authors want to provide good entertainment. From romance to thriller - here are a few tips for reading the spring.

Great emotions

E. L. James has made a love story with "The Mister". In the book, there are many sex scenes again, unlike in "Fifty Shades of Gray" but without a whip and gag. In "The Mister" the rich English noble Maxim falls in love with his new cleaning lady. Alessia is from Albania, has just come to England, and is in danger. Maxim, who himself was struck by a heavy blow, tries to help her. Little ambitious dialogues, but dark secrets that threaten to destroy the Cinderella love of the two protagonists.

Another book that will make women's hearts beat faster: in "Nights in which Storm Rises" by British best-selling author Jojo Moyes (49), Liza McCullen has found a home for herself and her daughter in the small town of Silver Bay on the coast of Australia Hannah. When the Englishman Mike Dormer arrives and settles in the guesthouse of Liza's aunt, however, the contemplative life gets in danger. The good-looking stranger makes plans that could change the little fishing village forever.

Thrill

With "The Eternal Dead" Simon Beckett (59) sent his forensic anthropologist David Hunter into a new case. This time around a corpse in a London hospital ruin. But the dead, pregnant woman is not the only creepy find that the investigators in the former clinic do. A lot of excitement, but not for the faint of heart!

Readers can also guess the riddles with John Grisham (64): In "The Confession" 1946 shoots Pete Banning, one of the most respected citizens in Clanton, the pastor. There is only one question left in the community: why? A family drama that remains exciting until the end. Romy Hausmann also made a great success with her thriller debut "Dear Child": A mother lives with her two children in a hut in the woods, locked away from the world. But when they manage to escape, the nightmare is not over yet ...

For the offspring

Big and small fans of Jeff Kinney (48) can look forward to additional comic novel fun. After "Greg's Diary" has the US bestselling author now also let his best friend to speak. In "Rupert's Diary - Too Cute For This World" readers will learn why Rupert goes through thick and thin with Greg.

Nele Neuhaus (51) and her new youth book should not only appeal to equestrian friends. She has just submitted the seventh volume of her series "Elena - A life for horses". Melike and Elena are embarking on a new adventure, starting to investigate on their own and are in grave danger.

True stories

Sebastian Fitzek (47) can now experience fans in a different way: in his new book there is no sign of corpses, murderers or investigators. The thriller author has written a non-fiction book entitled "Fish Climbing on Trees". It's a very personal book based on the question: "What would I want to tell my children today if I did not have the opportunity tomorrow?" Fitzek takes the reader on a journey through his own past. The book is meant to be a compass that helps the reader to answer certain life questions: What is really important? How will I be happy?

Social media star Marcel Eris aka MontanaBlack (31) speaks in his autobiography "MontanaBlack: From Junkie to YouTuber" about his years of drug addiction. The story of how he returned to normal life and made a career has become a successful bestseller.
