Ben Affleck: After the clinic came the divorce

Three years after they split up, Jennifer Garner (46, "30 over night") and Ben Affleck (46, "Argo") have apparently completed their divorce. According to "People", the ex-couple met with lawyers and a judge to make the divorce official. Previously Garner allegedly asked to accelerate the process. However, the two actors reportedly waited until Affleck had completed his stay in the clinic. He was treated for his alcohol addiction.

After 40 days in the clinic Affleck had also reported to his fans. The actor said on Instagram that he would now be treated on an outpatient basis and also thanked the fans and his family for the recovery he received during the treatment. "Fighting dependency is a lifelong and difficult struggle, so you're never really in or out of treatment, it's a full-time job, I'm fighting for myself and my family," he wrote.

Garner and Affleck announced their separation in June 2015 after ten years of marriage, but still spend time together as a family. The two have three children together: Violet (12), Seraphina (9) and Samuel (6). The actors were a couple since 2004 and had married in June 2005. The divorce filed at the same time in April 2017.
