Because she ate endangered animals: YouTuberin detained by police

"Natural Life TV" is not for the faint of heart! On her YouTube channel (currently around 35,000 subscribers), young mother Lin Tuch from Cambodia is posting videos in which she shows how to survive in the wild.

Bird plucking, snakes shedding, sharks grilling? The Social Media Survival Coach prepares its subscribers for all eventualities for the next camping trip. No matter if reptile, fish, mammal or bird: Lin cloth is guaranteed to have a matching outdoor cooking recipe.

Survival tips call environmentalists on the scene

But because the creature had multiple copies of protected species and even once an endangered cat (fish cat, Prionailurus viverrinus) on their menu, the Ministry of Environment in Cambodia has now apparently launched a lawsuit against Lin Tuch and her husband.

"We are in the process of taking legal action against the two," the online portal "The Sun" quotes a spokeswoman for the ministry. "The working group is currently writing a report on the case." The article also states that the police had arrested the creators in the short term.

YouTubers show remorse

Lin Tuch and her husband have now admitted that they cooked the animals (denial would have been difficult, finally, the relevant videos were on their YouTube channel to see). They also apologized for "destroying our wildlife."
