Beautify wooden spoons

Beautify wooden spoons - that's what you need:

• Wooden spoon made of untreated wood, about www.kaufmannsladen.de
• Acrylic paint by Académie in mineral white, turquoise, black, beige
• transparent acrylic paint
• brush
• narrow, high jam jars (number depending on the colors used)
• metal spoon
• newsprint
• clothes horse
• clothespins

Beautify wooden spoons - how it works:

1. Set up drying rack, put newspaper under it. 2. Mix a dark shade of turquoise and black. 3. Fill one color into each glass and dilute slightly with water so that the color runs well from the wood after immersion. 4. Spoon dipped in the desired depth in the color. Pull out, drain. 5. Attach the spoon to the clothes horse with the clothespin and let it dry. 6. Spoon less deeply into second color. Let dry. 7. If you like, dive the tip again in the first color. 8. Narrow vertical strips (see photo) are created by dipping the wooden spoon in color and pulling it up with the metal spoon on the handle. 9. Allow paint to dry and stalks with several thin layers of acrylic paint.
