Granny Hair - what's that supposed to be?
The speech here is of course gray hair. Inevitably, one thinks of one's own grandmother or the shock of seeing the first pigment-free highlights. In 2015, however, we are experiencing a small hair revolution. Now it says: "Blond was yesterday, gray is today"! Because young women have recognized that mature women with their silver hair look just great and have a grandiose charisma. Now they are eager to voluntarily let their hair look old. Under the hashtag #grannyhair you can find countless selfies of young hipster ladies with the strong anti-color on their heads.
The "graying" is deliberately and intentionally brought about
The silver shimmer on the tuft is very much desired and looks not at all old, but rather hip and casual.
Basically, as with any other hair color also applies: Gray is not the same gray. There is a rather whitish gray, a silvery, a warm and a cool.
