Bastian Schweinsteiger: So relaxed Schweini goes to his departure
His homeland has him back: Bastian Schweinsteiger (34) and his wife Ana Ivanovic (30) treat themselves before the farewell match between Munich and Chicago, a little relaxation in the Bavarian capital. With a big grin and obviously in a good mood, Basti seems well prepared to say goodbye to his second big love, FC Bayern Munich in the sold-out Allianz Arena.
"Perfect day in Munich, before Basti's big day," Ana writes to the grinning picture. For more than three years, Schweinis, as his fan base calls him, no longer plays for the German record champions. Meanwhile, he earns his money in the USA at Chicago Fire. However, he never lost contact with his old comrades, as an emotional letter from his old national team colleague Lukas Podolski (33) shows in which he admiringly writes: "You have become a legend!"
