Ariana Grande: The singer earns little at "7 Rings"

Ariana Grande (25, "Thank U, Next") continues to break all records with her hit song "7 Rings". After being released in January, the song was streamed over 14 million times over the first 24 hours - on Spotify alone. But not Grande, but others deserve a golden nose.

"7 Rings" is a comprehensive reinterpretation of the hit "My Favorite Things" from the musical "The Sound Of Music". A total of ten people are said to have been involved in the song. Nevertheless, 90 percent of the royalties go to the publisher Concord. The music company holds since 2017 the rights to the song, which was composed by Richard Rodgers. Oscar Hammerstein II contributed the text. Both artists are already dead.
