American Horror Story: Jessica Lange joins the scary series again
After several years of horror abstinence, Jessica Lange (69) retires: The star of the first four seasons of the successful series "American Horror Story" will be back in the upcoming eighth season. However, according to the US side "Variety", that did not announce Lange herself, but actress Sarah Paulson (43). In contrast to her colleague, she has been seen in every season of the show so far and will do so again in the new episodes alongside Lange.
Who is still there?
The new season will be nicknamed "Apocalypse" and will be a crossover between the first and third season. In the US, the episodes will provide for fear and terror in the living room from 12 September. In Germany, the broadcast on the pay-TV channel Fox at the seasons previously followed usually around two months later. A start in November this year seems so realistic.
Besides Lange and Paulson, Kathy Bates (70) and Evan Peters (31) will again be part of the cast. Although the cast remains at the core mostly the same, each season of the so-called anthology series is about completely new characters in a likewise new setting. The actors are allowed to put themselves back into other characters with each season and sometimes dress main, sometimes supporting roles.
