Alain Delon: Is his visit to Dresden at risk?

The Dresden SemperOpernball 2019 will take place on 1 February. As a guest, among others, the French drama legend Alain Delon (83, "The ice cold angel") is expected. He is one of the winners of the Dresden St. George Order this year. But whether it creates the 83-year-old to the gala, is still questionable. As the "Bild" newspaper reports, the film star has injured in a fall. "He was immediately taken to a clinic," says Prof. Hans-Joachim Frey (53), director of the Dresden SemperOpernball, the newspaper.

Alain Delon has participated in numerous productions, including "The Ice Cold Angel" (1967) and "The Swimming Pool" (1969). During the filming of "Christine" (1958) he met Romy Schneider (1938-1982). The two were involved for a few years, but not married, which Delon later publicly regretted. He once called Schneider "the great love of my life."
