After Sheet masks: Now come the hydrogel masks
If you want to do something good for your skin in between, spoil it with a rich facial mask. Finally, sheet masks and jelly masks created a true hype and were supposedly the secret recipe for a smooth and well-groomed facial skin. Now, a new care product makes for a neat stir: We are talking about hydrogel masks. But what is behind the hype?
Hydrogel Masks: Why All Love Them
At first glance, hydrogel masks are very similar to the trendy sheetmasks. They are also already preformed and can be placed directly on the face - and are intended for single use. The difference: The new hydrogel masks are not made of fleece, but of a kind of wafer-thin silicone layer.
How to use the new masks:
Clean the face as usual, remove the hydrogel mask from the packaging and place on the skin. As with a sheet mask, you must first adjust the shape so that the openings really fit. But beware: The masks are very thin and can get a tear quickly. Then leave the mask to work for about 15 minutes, then carefully remove it again. Finished!
If the mask is subsequently removed, unlike conventional masks, no product remains that need to be removed or incorporated. The material of the mask allows up to 50 percent more product to be absorbed by the skin. Wow!
