Advent calendar made of wood

The wooden advent calendar - this one is for little Luzia

"I love Christmas, I love the lights in the streets, the hustle and bustle in the city center, the smell, the Christmas music ... oh, just EVERYTHING, and I love to give it, always, preferably handmade exciting faces and the joy in it when the gift comes to light Strike! ;-)

I have only a tiny little problem with Christmas: Do you know that too? Despite the lights, despite the noise, despite the delicious smells and the music - schwups, that's it.

In order for this year to be crowned with success, I have used a trick: The gifts of our family and friend children are simply 'distributed' on the 1st, 6th and 24th of December. A part is finished and given away long before Christmas Eve.

And now ChroniquesDuVasteMonde.com asked me if I would like to write a Christmas letter for her. And since I was in the process of preparing for my present to Luzia (incidentally a present on Dec. 1), I immediately pledged.

Luzia is a magical girl. A little elf. Very tender, very blonde and a bit like from another world. Since Mom loved the advent calendars of our boys from last year, it's the perfect present for her. Here you can see my wooden advent calendar for copying. "

You need this for the advent calendar made of wood:

And this template for printing!

The instructions for the advent calendar made of wood:

Cut the wooden board according to the template. Round off the corners with the file. Drilling given holes (by the way, this is work for "the man in the house").

Then paint the board with white paint. After drying, it is properly sanded.

One of the most important utensils I forgot completely: a paper clip! You need them to pull the bands through the holes.

Now you can mix the red color and think about your favorite design. Who has stamped letters, can still stamp the name, otherwise simply write by hand.

Almost finished. Now only the small packages are missing ... but they are packed fast. We have rubber animals as filling and? Naturally ? Chocolate.

I wish a nice advent season!
