7 thoughts that ruin your relationship

Our thoughts have a lot of power. Because we direct our lives in a very special direction. So does our relationship. It is very important HOW we think about the partner and ourselves.

These considerations should rather be banished quickly from your head. Because sooner or later they can become a self-fulfilling prophecy (ie reality!).

1. My partner must be perfect

If you give too much space to this thought, you automatically focus on the negative sides of the partner - and that promotes frustration in the long run.

2. I'm not good enough for him

But, otherwise he would not be with you, right? Anyone who thinks this way catapults himself offside - completely unnecessary.

3. Maybe there is something better for me

If you love the partner, you should be completely in on him - and no longer stop at the back door.

4. It will be fine by itself

Relationship crisis? Then the wait alone usually does not help. You have to actively tackle the problems - that is, talk about them and look for solutions together.

5. Happy couples do not quarrel

That's not true! Happy couples address the things that bother or preoccupy them. For swallowing frustration and anger is in the end much more dangerous to the relationship than a few verbal struggles.

6. He who loves himself spends every free minute with each other

If both want that, okay. But a healthy relationship usually consists of the right balance of closeness and distance - and both should be aware that personal freedom does not mean that you do not love your partner.

7. Love alone is enough

It would be nice. Even if you love yourself, a relationship always means a piece of work - especially when you live together. You just have to be aware of that.
