All the world Hygge screams and wants to do it to the Danes. The relaxed lifestyle of the Scandinavians is simply enviable. But also the Swedes have it. No wonder, because they seem to have the lightness. The reconciliation of work and family succeeds, stress and performance pressure seem alien. Everything seems easypeasy relaxed, peaceful and pretty.

1. Everything LAGOM?

Lagom is the basis of Swedish life and means something like "stay relaxed, do not exaggerate" and of everything "just right, not too much and not too little". For example: Lagom is the moment to eat when you are full but not overeating. This can also be transferred to the rest of life. Modest, not boastful, ambitious, not ambitious, together, not always trying to outdo the other?

2. Tastefully munching

Madness, these slip strategies of Sweden. It will be served on Fridays and Saturdays. This idea was introduced as caries protection for young Swedes.FredagsmysThe Swedes call Chips and Dip on Friday, which they like to feed with family and friends. Who likes to be classic, also makes tacos? Mexican fast food is one of Sweden's favorite dishes.Lördagsgodis are the Saturday sweets. But of course there are also small loopholes around the restriction: for example thelilla lördag, a little Saturday: It's on Wednesdays and allows the kids a few small sweets.

3rd weekend plan

Long lines in the supermarket stress everyone, including the Swedes. Of course, anyway, that's why we look at Sweden's planning strategy. BEFORE the weekend go shopping and plan well. So you have the weekend free for activities with friends and family!

4. Sing!

Especially in connection with alcohol, the Swede likes to sing. Allegedly, Swedes drink less often, but then more. There are certain songs that are blaring on occasions like the Midsummer Festival, until the voice fails. We are happy to look at the cheerful Tirilieren, whether he lands under the table, everyone decides for himself.

5. Dancing!

This does not necessarily have anything to do with alcohol, but with SPORT. The Swedes love to dance, it's just as happy as singing. In the gyms, a dance discipline is particularly popular: the Jympa. All ages hopping, dancing and running together to Abba and other hits.

6. Always polite, punctual and discreet

Anyone who has ever made a holiday in Sweden will be delighted by the courtesy of the Swedes. Bad mood to leave out others? For the Swedes very terrible. Bad behavior they do not like, including street shoes in the apartment and righteousness in discussions. Even when eating, one always pays attention to the pie, which remains. Punctuality is also important to Swedes, as is discretion.

7. Do FIKA!

That's almost the most important thing we can learn from the Swedes. From A to B rush, breathless from the surplus of stress hormones and a quick hand on the coffee? Nothing there. FIKA is announced, which means something like break, coffee and cake in a cozy atmosphere. You had a busy appointment? First coffee with kladdkaka (chocolate cake)! The bike ride to work hoses? A clear case for coffee with Kanelbulle (cinnamon buns)! And when it comes down to it: coffee with Semlor (particles with filling)! So we do that from now on, right?
