5 things you should know as a business woman!

Anyone who dares take the step into entrepreneurship is unlikely to be slowed down by euphoria. OK then! But unexpectedly often comes - that unfortunately also applies to your own company. And suddenly you face challenges that even the most prudent entrepreneur would never have expected. Whether it's the circle of friends who are suddenly changed by the many energies you have in your heart project, or what it actually means when the success comes "overnight". It is all the more important that people speak openly about problems. This is also the opinion of this year's coaches of "Entrepreneurs of the Future", a joint initiative of Global Digital Women, German Businesswomen's Association, ChroniquesDuVasteMonde Academy and Amazon, who have overcome some stumbling blocks on their way to success. As part of the initiative, the experts will now pass on their experience to the 20 participants for half a year. But what would the coaches themselves like to know before they started their business? We asked at 5 of them.

Be it the next birthday party, the baby shower or the wedding: For her online shop "Frau Wundervoll", the founder designs lovely little things that make every celebration and every season even more beautiful. Your most important learning? The feel-good area must be left well or wrong sometimes.

"I wish someone had told me beforehand how important it is to have to leave their own comfort zone with impulses from outside, and today I know that, no matter how small you start, developing one's inner strength is one of the most important building blocks for success is. "



2. Christiane Jordan / Madame Jordan

With her label? Madame Jordan? has the triple mom specialized in high-quality, partly self-designed baby carriers made of sustainable materials in her online shop and in the Berlin store? with success! But despite or because of the hype surrounding DIY, organic and handmade, the founder sees herself faced with a challenge time and again:

"You are quickly pushed into a system of growth and more responsibility, and over time, I learned that this system does not work for everyone and you have to find your own way in the end, for example, fair prices are more important to me than rapid growth."

3. Oliver Elsoud / Happy Po

With her butt shower "Happy Po", the two young founders have revolutionized toilet hygiene - and by the way also convinced investor Dagmar Wöhrl in "The Cave of the Lions". But how do you deal with it, if someone can not do anything with your product? The two guys would have liked to have an earlier answer to this question.



"No matter how charming and confident you are, you can not force everything, there are still people who can not do anything with you and your product, do not be discouraged, stay there and find your crowd."

4. Frank Schmischke / Happy Po

Challenges, setbacks? Meanwhile, the founder duo is very open with problems. But what they had to learn relatively quickly: Unfortunately, this is not a matter of course.

"Reasoning is amazingly similar to going to the bathroom: talking about problems seems to be taboo for many, but there is always someone who has experienced the same thing, so dare to talk about it, and afterwards you will definitely feel better! "

5. Tobias Jaroschek / Mercatura Warenhandel GmbH

From furniture to classic everyday helpers to textiles: The managing director has been celebrating successes with his trading company for years. His hobby: classic e-commerce. But this is not just about marketing.

"After the first two years, I was surprised by the amount of administrative work, such as accounting, tax law, etc. Especially at the beginning, these activities took up to 25% of my time."

Although the coaches have all had very different experiences, they unite one thing: none of the experts and none of the experts has been discouraged by unforeseen challenges. On the contrary, they were able to boost their business even more confidently and stronger! With this important learning they now want to encourage the participants of "Entrepreneurs of the Future" to continue to fight for their dream even in difficult phases!
