5 reasons why your make-up does not last
1. forget primer
For those who work with Foundation, applying paint is often the first step in applying make-up. And here is the first reason why make-up will not last the whole day (or the whole night). Because, whether we notice it or not, we sweat all day, losing fluid that connects with the foundation and simply "drains". Therefore, it makes sense to apply a primer before the foundation. This ensures that skin and make-up are "separated" from each other. This will make the Foundation more durable and stay where it should be.
2. Care & Foundation have too little exposure time
You wear a moisturizer before applying make-up? Excellent! If you want to minimize the opacity of the Foundation, you can even apply both together. But be careful: Before you reach for powder, mascara and bronzer, it should take a few minutes. If care and foundation can not move in long enough, they will later connect with the other make-up products. This ensures a mask-like appearance, the products lose their effectiveness and the hold becomes friable.
3. You wear the products with your fingers
We admit: Especially eye shadow can be faded with the fingers sometimes easier and more precise. But one thing has to be clear. If you apply your beauty products with your fingers, you have to say goodbye to them sooner. The reason: You can only work very superficially with your fingers. Only the matching beauty brush, with which you can "knock" the colors into the skin in the best case, ensures that the color is well incorporated into the skin and is thus durable.
4. The fixation is forgotten
Foundation, concealer, eyeliners, mascara and rouge sit where they should? Perfect. But unfortunately one is not quite finished at this point - the fixation has to be done. Make-up fixers come in various forms, usually as a light powder or spray. Powder the face or spray - done! It fixes all make-up products and prevents smearing.
5. You put yourselves in the face
A frequently underestimated reason that the make-up does not last: You can face your face all day long. Whether while thinking, dabbing at the mouth after eating or because it itches. Unconsciously, one constantly drives one's hand through one's face, making sure piece by piece that the makeup is picked up or distributed by the fingers and disappears.
